slide Day 1Dublin City Tour | Pearse Lyons Distillery
Your tour departs at 2:00 PM from your Dublin hotel. Take a panoramic tour of Dublin, seeing such sights as elegant Georgian townhouses, St. Stephen's Green and the River Liffey. Visit the Pearse Lyons Distillery, Dublin's only independent, family-owned distillery, in the former St James's Church in the Liberties. Taste the whiskey and hear tales dating back to the 12th century as you tour this lovingly restored church. Enjoy a welcome drink with your group before dining independently.
Visit Down Cathedral where St Patrick's historical burial site is marked by a huge boulder. Immerse yourself in his work, life, and times in the nearby St Patrick Centre. Explore Crumlin Road Gaol and see what prison life was like through the ages. Head to central Belfast for some time to relax before dinner at your hotel. (B, D)
Tour central Belfast to see Victorian buildings, the imposing City Hall in Donegall Square, and the shipyards where RMS Titanic was built in 1912. In Derry join a local guide for a short walking tour around the defensive walls that encircle the compact old city. Travel through the rugged countryside of Donegal, renowned for heathery hills, sheep and the many tweeds made from their wool. Travel along part of the Ring of Kerry to see spectacular mountain scenery at Moll's Gap and Ladies' View, on your way to Kenmare, where you'll have lunch and some free time to explore. Galway Streets

Wonderfully planned and executed trip. Our tour director was a gem and looked after us as if we were in her own family. Lots of good, first hand info, including her native experiences growing up and raising her family. She did poetry readings, wonderful Irish stories and sang a song or two, all seemingly by memory.

Incredible Experience!

Toured pretty much everywhere along the coast. My favorites were Giant's Causeway and Blarney Castle. Accommodations were great. A perfect length of time to spend in Ireland.

Great tour of Emerald Isle!

Cliffs of Mohr, Giants Causeway, Blarney Castle (good call to get there early in the day!), Taylors Three Rock, most (not all) of the hotels, many of the group dinners, all the guided walking tours, Titanic Museum...loved these & most other tours! Jaunting car in Killarney, fun. Loved Dingle Peninsula. Very much appreciated airport transfers both ways.
John our guide & Patrick our driver were great.

-Hotel in Derry - could've been better; mob scene with too many tours at mediocre breakfast.
-Dinner at Killarney Hotel was, for us, a disaster, we wound up eating plain dry chicken. Server did not understand when we said no pork, and didn't inform us that the potatoes had the black pudding mixed in so we couldn't eat that either.
-Could've done without Crumlin Gaol, boring.
-Galway wasn't much to do - could've used a walking tour there.
-Lunch at St. Patrick's visitor center was horrid; shouldn't recommend that.
