Your tour departs at 2:00 PM from your Glasgow hotel. Set out on a panoramic tour of Glasgow - a dynamic, friendly city with a wealth of Victorian architecture and modern culture. Drive around George Square and see its collection of monuments to famous Scots. Visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, a splendid, Spanish Baroque-style building housing one of Europe's finest art collections, including masterpieces by Rembrandt, Titian, and Dali. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner with your group. (D)
Depart for the scenic Highlands, driving alongside Loch Lomond, resplendent with lush islands, then across Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe - seeing mountains, moors and waterfalls along the way. Stop at Fort Augustus for a short cruise on Loch Ness, famed for its beauty as well as the legendary monster. Continue to your elegant manor house hotel in Nairn. (B, D)
Visit the historic Blair Athol Distillery to discover the art of whisky-making and sample a dram. Continue to St Andrews, the “Home of Golf”; take a panoramic drive and spend some time exploring the old city independently. Continue on to your gracious manor house hotel outside Edinburgh, set on 1,000 acres of picturesque grounds. Explore as you wish and dine independently this evening. (B)
Take a panoramic tour of Edinburgh to see the main sights, from bustling Princes Street to the wide streets of the 200-year-old Georgian “New Town.” Walk along the Royal Mile, where compact medieval houses reach several stories tall. Front row seats at the Edinborough Tattoo was the icing on the cake!

The 5-day tour was just perfect for us. Our coach driver and tour guide went out of their way to ensure that we got to see all of the best highlights of Scotland. They scored us the best seats at the Edinborough Tattoo which was the highlight of our trip!

Enjoyed the Taste of Scotland Tour

Although the hotel outside of Edinburgh was lovely, it would have been more convenient to be in the city within walking distance of sites and shopping.
