slide Day 1Dublin Tour | Teeling Whiskey Distillery
Your tour departs at 2:00 PM from the hotel lobby and sets off on a panoramic tour of Dublin city center. Visit the award-winning Teeling Distillery. This new distillery in the heart of the city was Dublin's first distillery to open in 125 years. Return to your hotel for a welcome drink and dinner with your group.. (B, D)
Relax and enjoy the farmlands of the picturesque midlands. Savor farm life as you visit a traditional farm; enjoy homemade scones with tea, and watch trained dogs show off their skills herding sheep. Visit Blarney Castle to kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence” or explore the tranquil gardens. Travel through Macroom and into County Kerry where the scenery becomes more mountainous. Arrive in the charming town of Killarney. (B, D)
Discover the glorious Dingle Peninsula, made famous in the movies “Ryan's Daughter” and “Far & Away,” which showcased the wonderful scenery found here. Fantastic experience!

I traveled with CIE on the Best of Ireland South tour in April 2018 as a solo traveler. Our tour leader Matt was fantastic. The days were very well laid out, though very busy. He definitely set expectations and kept us on a great schedule. We did so much in seven days (900 miles logged) The hotels were adequate. Our bus was comfortable and it was very convenient to have Wi-Fi. The highlights for me on this tour was definitely the time spent around Dingle Bay. The town is charming and the boat trip around the bay (though wet and windy) was fascinating - seeing Fungie the famous dolphin was a plus! We lucked out with SUN the day we visited the Cliffs of Moher. I will definitely consider doing another tour with CIE.
